After the first half Purcaresti CSS were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Octav Tomoioagă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Purcaresti CSS booed when Porjus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rikard Öberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fred Hjortberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. After 74 played minutes Porjus got a freekick which was hit by Rikard Öberg. Paul Drăgan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Fred Hjortberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Porjus fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Purcaresti CSS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
