But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teo Iigo couldn't finish the play. Franklin Agurto's late challenge caught a Errecaborda AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franklin Agurto helped the player get up and apologised. Franklin Agurto hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Mario Lao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Belo having to interfere. Felipe Arauz kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Enrique Belo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franklin Agurto in the 14th minute of the match. Enrique Belo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Arauz, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Max Barrera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benigno Mambru's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute, Teo Iigo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Max Barrera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Benigno Mambru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Max Barrera made a huge save. Felipe Arauz charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe Arauz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Felipe Arauz kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Teo Iigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Max Barrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to ORION F.C. getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ildefonso Bonifaco hit a great ball. Max Barrera made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Benigno Mambru sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute, Benigno Mambru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teo Iigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Barrera having to interfere. After 43 played minutes ORION F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hermes Tello. In the 45th minute of the match Benigno Mambru sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Max Barrera skillfully saved the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

A hard shot 85 in the game by Felipe Arauz from a close distance when the talented Enrique Belo managed to make a qualified save. Errecaborda AFC's players were relieved. ORION F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benigno Mambru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When the referee ended the match the Errecaborda AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
