But to his dismay, Arnoldo Pirro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Fortinducto booed when FC Saubrigues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphaël Giacometti didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute Esteban Sugoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathys Mora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Fortinducto's zone, Matthieu Macquet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Nastasio came out of the goal and Matthieu Macquet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Raphaël Giacometti managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Saubrigues's supporters rose to their feet, but Raphaël Giacometti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. But to his dismay, Esteban Sugoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Esteban Sugoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sébastian Gossard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ivan Nastasio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, FC Saubrigues's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Pirro came free, but Mathys Mora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 minutes, Esteban Sugoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fortinducto and the FC Saubrigues players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Fortinducto getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Esteban Sugoi hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Justino Palos made a kick off. After having played for 62 minutes, Raphaël Giacometti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Saubrigues's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raphaël Giacometti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 65 minutes, Matthieu Macquet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Saubrigues and the Fortinducto players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ivan Nastasio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthieu Macquet, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Ivan Nastasio came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Saubrigues's Matthieu Macquet. But to his dismay, Matthieu Macquet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. A collision led to Fortinducto getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Diego Munio hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the game, Fortinducto's Justino Palos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mathys Mora made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Esteban Sugoi took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Mathys Mora to make any attempt to save it. The Fortinducto supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fortinducto would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
