After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Amadeo Cresencio scored 0-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mathys Mora, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Quitilipi's Apolo Tristan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphaël Giacometti in the 62nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrien Cariou during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Raphaël Giacometti came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the FC Saubrigues fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raphaël Giacometti couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Quitilipi had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
