Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lorenzo Llope started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Espigão Steamrollers's Vitório Mello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximiliano Regis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 6 minutes into the game, Vitório Mello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Maximiliano Regis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 10th match minute, La Vuelta del Malon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Darien to maneuver through the defense. Zézinho Matos, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Lorenzo Llope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 19 minutes into the match, Cristian Quirino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximiliano Regis. La Vuelta del Malon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Quirino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After 22 minutes of play, Espigão Steamrollers's Vitório Mello made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximiliano Regis was left in no man's land by his defense there! La Vuelta del Malon's Maximiliano Regis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Mello in the 32nd minute of play. If Olívio da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Vitório Mello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Espigão Steamrollers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 41st minute, Cristian Quirino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximiliano Regis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. After a rather tough play, La Vuelta del Malon's Faustino Tximitx got a free kick in the 44th minute. Zézinho Matos, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafa Saraiva in the 48th minute of play forced La Vuelta del Malon's goalkeeper Maximiliano Regis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Maximiliano Regis came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Espigão Steamrollers's Olívio da Silva. But to his dismay, Olívio da Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. 0-9 became the score in the 56th minute when Olívio da Silva elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Maximiliano Regis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Quirino went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. In the 69th match minute, Espigão Steamrollers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafa Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. Serafim Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Pere in the 74th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Espigão Steamrollers's Maximiliano Regis threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rafa Saraiva, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 76 minutes into the game, Enzo Arias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Vuelta del Malon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Espigão Steamrollers the free kick. 80 minutes into the match, La Vuelta del Malon's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Saraiva came free, but Maximiliano Regis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Espigão Steamrollers's Vitório Mello got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute Jacobo Pere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafim Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Quirino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximiliano Regis having to make a save. Cristian Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olívio da Silva in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maximiliano Regis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Enzo Arias was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Genaro Darien's late challenge caught a Espigão Steamrollers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genaro Darien helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, La Vuelta del Malon's Genaro Darien got a free kick in the 91st minute. Espigão Steamrollers's Zézinho Matos shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 92nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Maximiliano Regis but with some difficulty. Vitório Mello's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Maximiliano Regis firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match was over Espigão Steamrollers could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than La Vuelta del Malon throughout the match.
