Aloísio Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Remedios SC's goal looked a bit too open when Dennys Gøl came free, but Jean dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Inácio Sampaio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jean dos Santos. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 47th minute Chivu Quintana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guto Campidelis hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The supporters of Remedios SC booed when Clube Atl. Taquaritinga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dennys Gøl to make the kick off. Jean dos Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guto Campidelis's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. When Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Guto Campidelis, in the 54th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Clube Atl. Taquaritinga. Zé Augusto Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano Brasil having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Cássio Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's supporters rose to their feet, but Cássio Secco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean dos Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moisés Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Germano Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goalkeeper Germano Brasil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moisés Lima. The audience was convinced that Ronaldo Queraria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean dos Santos was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldo Queraria in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean dos Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Ronaldo Queraria put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jean dos Santos. When Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Ronaldo Queraria in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jean dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guto Campidelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Jean dos Santos came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Inácio Sampaio. But to his dismay, Inácio Sampaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-1. 87 minutes into the match, Fiori Guimarães notched a goal, 10-1, to the right of Remedios SC's Jean dos Santos. Jean dos Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guto Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jean dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 96 minutes of play, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Tanush Çarçani made it 11-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jean dos Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there!
