The referee ignored Yaji FC's protests and gave Tobias Quirze a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Tobias Quirze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Erasmo Blasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Sálvio Sacramento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Prospero Francesco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yaji FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Prospero Francesco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sálvio Sacramento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erasmo Blasi struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Sálvio Sacramento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yaji FC. Academia Monte Gordo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Prospero Francesco scored to the left of an out of position Sálvio Sacramento, making the score, 1-1. In the 23rd minute Erasmo Blasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sálvio Sacramento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Academia Monte Gordo's Sálvio Sacramento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Academia Monte Gordo from getting a goal against them. Sálvio Sacramento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Prospero Francesco managed to get in a good position for a shot. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flávio Anjos to strike the kick off in the second half. Sálvio Sacramento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Francesco in the 52nd minute of the match. A collision led to Yaji FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Tobias Quirze hit a great ball. In the 58th match minute, Yaji FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Blasi to maneuver through the defense. Sálvio Sacramento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Blasi in the 60th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Yaji FC had won after a very even match.
