Dark Prophets's Robert Şuteu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Dark Prophets from getting a goal against them. Necati Eripek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alin Curteanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ayberk Zeyrek did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Robert Şuteu 9 minutes into the match. Macit Zafer hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Mihăiţă Gheție struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Necati Eripek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dark Prophets. Mihăiţă Gheție hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute Artun Şenyurt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Şuteu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihăiţă Gheție received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Necati Eripek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Ayberk Zeyrek rounded Dark Prophets's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. After 25 played minutes Dark Prophets got a freekick which was hit by Virgil Vulturar. Atahan Erginsoy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Robert Şuteu. Dark Prophets's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Blue Mountain State getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Macit Zafer hit a great ball. Necati Eripek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurel Nicolescu in the 29th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Ali Kağan Seferoğlulları hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Mihăiţă Gheție had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Necati Eripek. Blue Mountain State's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mihăiţă Gheție was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ayberk Zeyrek in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robert Şuteu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ayberk Zeyrek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Blue Mountain State fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Blue Mountain State's Ayberk Zeyrek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Eyüp Kalender fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blue Mountain State's protests and gave Eyüp Kalender a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes Blue Mountain State got a freekick which was hit by Eyüp Kalender. Viorel Cristoloveanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Ayberk Zeyrek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robert Şuteu was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the game, Nuralp Şahinkan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blue Mountain State's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dark Prophets the free kick. The supporters of Dark Prophets booed when Blue Mountain State was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuralp Şahinkan didn't get a good kick on the ball.
