When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Adolfo Lauro sped through UPAU FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Felix Inocente. Felix Inocente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Ellande, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 16 minutes, Jorge Claude mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UPAU FC and the Cascadia United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th minute Adolfo Lauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Inocente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Cascadia United's goalkeeper Dario Gutierrez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Primitivo Abascal. 26 minutes into the game, Adolfo Lauro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Felix Inocente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute Nemesio Raymond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Inocente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Adolfo Lauro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cascadia United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 33rd match minute, UPAU FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Ferman to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the game, Efrain Ramos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Felix Inocente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 44 minutes into the match, Cascadia United's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Lia came free, but Dario Gutierrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Nemesio Raymond had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felix Inocente. UPAU FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nemesio Raymond was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adolfo Lauro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Filomeno Suero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. UPAU FC's Joel Baumer couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 56th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cascadia United. The long shot by Octavio Ellande in the 67th minute really tested Felix Inocente's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Felix Inocente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Ramos in the 69th minute of the match. With a little luck, UPAU FC's Felix Inocente got control of the ball when Adolfo Lauro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 71 minutes of play, Cascadia United's Nemesio Raymond made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felix Inocente was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nemesio Raymond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jesus Casomiro lost his temper 87 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 87th match minute, Cascadia United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Casomiro to maneuver through the defense. When Joel Baumer came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the UPAU FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Baumer couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, Luciano Vigil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dario Gutierrez. Cascadia United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luciano Vigil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Primitivo Abascal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Gutierrez having to interfere. The UPAU FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cascadia United's performance. The match ended with a win for Cascadia United.
