After 21 played minutes Gonz FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Bela. After a rather tough play, Botev Plovdiv 1912's Avgust Súbchev got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Botev Plovdiv 1912 booed when Gonz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Gizon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored Botev Plovdiv 1912's protests and gave Valko Mitin a yellow card for diving instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Avgust Súbchev to make the kick off. Avgust Súbchev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Juvenal Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, Gonz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Barros to maneuver through the defense. Tenyo Shivarov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Luzea in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 75th minute Avgust Súbchev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Klaas Jan Papachronopoulos struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Tenyo Shivarov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gonz FC. A collision led to Botev Plovdiv 1912 getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Bone Starchev hit a great ball. If Klaas Jan Papachronopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juvenal Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avgust Súbchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 98 minutes into the match, Ognyan Filipov notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Gonz FC's Juvenal Matos. Juvenal Matos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Botev Plovdiv 1912 were victorious despite being under pressure from Gonz FC for much of the match.
