Delfino Abrego recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julian Savona charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julian Savona the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th match minute, Sliema Dragons FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Savona to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Severiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xulian Aguilo in the 11th minute of the match. Xulian Aguilo charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Xulian Aguilo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 23 minutes into the game, !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Xulian Aguilo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelo Severiano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Sliema Dragons FC's zone, Xulian Aguilo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Severiano came out of the goal and Xulian Aguilo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Baudilio Otero got a free kick in the 26th minute. Samuel Galdes's late challenge caught a !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Galdes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Samuel Galdes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Marcelo Severiano managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Xulian Aguilo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 32 played minutes !Pabellon Ourense C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Elisardo Zabalo. In the 37th minute Ryan Grima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikel Bravo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Severiano was a little too slow when Xulian Aguilo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 4-0. Sliema Dragons FC's Marcelo Severiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xulian Aguilo in the 44th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ryan Grima to strike the kick off in the second half. Nikolai Testaferrata Olivier hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Xulian Aguilo got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71stth minute of the game Xulian Aguilo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sliema Dragons FC's Marcelo Severiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Xulian Aguilo came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the !Pabellon Ourense C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xulian Aguilo couldn't finish the play.
