With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arvi Vilbaste in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charles Cosse saved corsaire nantais from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, corsaire nantais's goal looked a bit too open when Einar Laaniste came free, but Charles Cosse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charles Cosse was a little too slow when Erkki Leesment got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-0. Charles Cosse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erkki Leesment, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Einar Laaniste reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Charles Cosse. The goal made the score 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Éluard Vidal to strike the kick off in the second half. Éluard Vidal's late challenge caught a Grimório's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Éluard Vidal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st match minute, corsaire nantais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Éluard Vidal to maneuver through the defense.
