Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mihail Postolache got the match started through his kick off. Unidad de Matanza's Gregorio Garikoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Postolache in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Tãrâtã in the 4th minute of play forced Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Gregorio Garikoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Postolache came free, but Gregorio Garikoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Unidad de Matanza fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Unidad de Matanza's Santos Borre looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 15th minute Tudor Tãrâtã suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 16 minutes, Reynaldo Rios mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unidad de Matanza and the FC Truseni players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Unidad de Matanza getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Reynaldo Rios hit a great ball. If Iosif Creangã had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Jenaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Vadim Macovei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Santos Borre sped through FC Truseni's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vadim Macovei. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santos Borre in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vadim Macovei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nunez Savier got free with Vadim Macovei in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gregorio Garikoitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iosif Creangã's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the game, Unidad de Matanza's Jacobo Herauso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vadim Macovei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After some careless play in the Unidad de Matanza defense, Mihail Postolache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregorio Garikoitz. The Unidad de Matanza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregorio Garikoitz should have stopped the shot. 41 minutes into the game, Ismael Jenaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unidad de Matanza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Truseni the free kick. In the 41st minute, Ismael Jenaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vadim Macovei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Jenaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santos Borre to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, FC Truseni's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Herauso came free, but Vadim Macovei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santos Borre scored 4-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vadim Macovei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Santos Borre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iosif Creangã who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Gregorio Garikoitz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ismael Jenaro took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vadim Macovei. Vadim Macovei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nunez Savier in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vadim Macovei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, FC Truseni's Sandu Perju got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 79th match minute, Unidad de Matanza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Rios to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Unidad de Matanza defense, Mihail Postolache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregorio Garikoitz. The Unidad de Matanza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregorio Garikoitz should have stopped the shot. In the 95th minute Mihail Postolache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Garikoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unidad de Matanza were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Truseni for a fine match.
