Ingvar Hellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The supporters of Hermanö Oilers booed when MZ Fénix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Pestana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Castelo Branco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Ingvar Hellkvist made a huge save. When Melker Kjellkvist came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Hermanö Oilers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melker Kjellkvist couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Noel Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot. MZ Fénix's supporters rose to their feet, but Noel Tinoco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ingvar Hellkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Hermanö Oilers's zone, Noel Tinoco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingvar Hellkvist came out of the goal and Noel Tinoco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Noel Tinoco succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 31st playminute. In the 39th minute Noel Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Hellkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingvar Hellkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, MZ Fénix's Wilson Pestana got a free kick in the 41st minute. Carlos Castelo Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. MZ Fénix's Delfim Vilas Boas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melker Kjellkvist in the 46th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Noel Tinoco was the one to do the kick off.
