In the 4th minute, José Vítor Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Vítor Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Wassim Imad came free, but Dráusio Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dráusio Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wassim Imad, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Hafiz Romad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Palmeira in the 28th minute of the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Gino de Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Izaltina FAD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gino de Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Wassim Suoud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Izaltina FAD's Gino de Lima ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hafiz Romad. Hafiz Romad yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 39th minute of the match, Claudinei Palmeira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hafiz Romad saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdul Halim Aban in the 40th minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Dráusio Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42ndth minute of the game Abdul Halim Aban who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Izaltina FAD's Dráusio Oliveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdul Halim Aban made a kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Abdul Halim Aban recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dráusio Oliveira. Abdul Halim Aban showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Líbano's Qazim Mujahid got a free kick in the 64th minute. Hafiz Romad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Palmeira in the 69th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Salah El Aska came free, but Dráusio Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gino de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Hafiz Romad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdul Halim Aban scored 1-3 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dráusio Oliveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wajid Abdul Baqi kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Hafiz Romad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino de Lima in the 87th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Dráusio Oliveira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Wassim Suoud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráusio Oliveira having to interfere. The Líbano supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Líbano would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
