Isaac Nayely made in the 7th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Leonardo Bento. After 8 played minutes CA Boca Jrs got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Alfani. Aurelio Epifani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Acevedo having to interfere. With his leg Florencio Acevedo managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when CA Boca Jrs's Armando Garofalo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Diego Tassotti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hilario Lobo went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Armando Garofalo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florencio Acevedo was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Armando Garofalo took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Florencio Acevedo to make any attempt to save it. When CA Boca Jrs's Armando Garofalo in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The coaching staff of CA Boca Jrs protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alfredo Alfani had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 49th minute there was a penalty for Estación Q.. Niceto Gaizkine stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Diego Tassotti. 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jairo Telmo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Garibaldi during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Armando Garibaldi hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the CA Boca Jrs defense, Benjamin Barros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diego Tassotti. The CA Boca Jrs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego Tassotti should have stopped the shot. Florencio Acevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Epifani in the 60th minute of the match. Aurelio Epifani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Florencio Acevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Arturo Santilli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Aurelio Epifani managed to get in a good position for a shot. CA Boca Jrs's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Epifani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florencio Acevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Florencio Acevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Epifani in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Benjamin Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, Arturo Santilli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diego Tassotti was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Jairo Telmo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jairo Telmo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. Hilario Lobo took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diego Tassotti. Diego Tassotti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. Arturo Santilli hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Jairo Telmo notched a goal, 1-8, to the right of CA Boca Jrs's Diego Tassotti. Diego Tassotti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Florencio Acevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Epifani in the 95th minute of play. The supporters of Estación Q. booed when CA Boca Jrs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Comunardo Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Epifani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Estación Q. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
