The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Dadá Ponta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New England Minas and the OS IMPOSSIVEIS players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Dadá Ponta hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Mete Ferro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. José Vítor da Mata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cory Kirkland, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. José Vítor da Mata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mete Ferro in the 14th minute of the match. Elder Tavares hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, OS IMPOSSIVEIS's goalkeeper José Vítor da Mata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mete Ferro. The crowd rose to their feet as New England Minas's Mete Ferro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of José Vítor da Mata. That made the score 2-0 after 24 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Benito Pearce got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 34th minute, one of OS IMPOSSIVEIS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for OS IMPOSSIVEIS. 40 minutes into the match, OS IMPOSSIVEIS's goal looked a bit too open when Cory Kirkland came free, but José Vítor da Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, OS IMPOSSIVEIS's goalkeeper José Vítor da Mata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mete Ferro. Mete Ferro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of José Vítor da Mata when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for New England Minas! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dito Meirelles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, OS IMPOSSIVEIS's goal looked a bit too open when Cory Kirkland came free, but José Vítor da Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jon Negron during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luís Eduardo da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. OS IMPOSSIVEIS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mete Ferro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Mete Ferro sped through OS IMPOSSIVEIS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Vítor da Mata. 68 minutes into the match, New England Minas's Mete Ferro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Vítor da Mata narrowly saved just below the crossbar. OS IMPOSSIVEIS's Dedé Meireles was substituted for Luís Eduardo da Rocha. Dedé Meireles made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by New England Minas's Tanner Merrill. In the 74th minute Mete Ferro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Vítor da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Vítor da Mata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mete Ferro in the 75th minute of play. If Dito Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 minutes, Fletcher Lund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New England Minas and the OS IMPOSSIVEIS players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Fletcher Lund hit a great ball. Segundo Gol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Ahlén in the 83rd minute of the match. José Vítor da Mata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mete Ferro's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. When New England Minas's Mete Ferro in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye OS IMPOSSIVEIS's goalie prevented a goal.
