Takis Nestoriou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Chandran in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to Olympiacos FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Vaggelis Tassakos hit a great ball. In the 45th minute of the match Sajeev Mathews shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Takis Nestoriou showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Olympiacos FC's Dimitris Koudas got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half NFH Family United were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sean Soon was the one to do the kick off. Dimitris Koudas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Takis Nestoriou was a little too slow when Sean Soon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 1-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexis Kotsanakis in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amir Chee prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olympiacos FC's Dimitris Koudas got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Dimitris Koudas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amir Chee. NFH Family United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dimitris Koudas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vaggelis Tassakos during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
