Victoriano Ferran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Illés Kiss made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Checa in the 11th minute. Victoriano Ferran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szabolcs Szarka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofilo Baladi hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Lyons's Victoriano Ferran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurél Hellinger in the 22nd minute of play. Richárd Szakács hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Újlõrincfalva LC's goalkeeper Illés Kiss, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victoriano Ferran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Imre Vörös in the 28th minute of the match. After 32 minutes of play, Újlõrincfalva LC's Richárd Dárdai made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victoriano Ferran was left in no man's land by his defense there! Victoriano Ferran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szabolcs Szarka in the 44th minute of play. Flavio Checa hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szabolcs Szarka in the 48th minute of play forced Lyons's goalkeeper Victoriano Ferran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Szabolcs Szarka made the kick off in the second half. Victoriano Ferran was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Szabolcs Szarka capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Szabolcs Szarka really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. In the 55th minute, Mátyás Simon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, Lyons's goalkeeper Victoriano Ferran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Szabolcs Szarka. After 57 played minutes Lyons got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Frascuelo. With a little luck, Lyons's Victoriano Ferran got control of the ball when Fábián Müller tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victoriano Ferran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Richárd Dárdai went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. When Jorge Enol fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lyons's protests and gave Jorge Enol a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd match minute, Lyons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Enol to maneuver through the defense. Victoriano Ferran was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Szabolcs Szarka capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Szabolcs Szarka really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Teofilo Baladi charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teofilo Baladi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Teofilo Baladi kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Victoriano Ferran came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Újlõrincfalva LC's Fábián Müller. But to his dismay, Fábián Müller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. If Aurél Hellinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 85 minutes, Fábián Müller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Újlõrincfalva LC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fábián Müller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Újlõrincfalva LC defense, Agustin Jaunti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Illés Kiss. The Újlõrincfalva LC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Illés Kiss should have stopped the shot. Victoriano Ferran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurél Hellinger in the 96th minute of play. Újlõrincfalva LC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
