Clemente Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Knut Engström, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. In the 15th minute Urban Berglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Lanny Valle ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Casper Almstedt. Casper Almstedt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Casper Almstedt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Owen Vera in the 27th minute. Alfred Finnbogason sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clemente Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Knut Engström in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Urban Berglund suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Rex Izturis charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rex Izturis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Di Röe booed when C. A. Pipon Pipon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rex Izturis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Knut Engström might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clemente Armani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Knut Engström ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Knut Engström in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clemente Armani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clemente Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Alebeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

C. A. Pipon Pipon's Colby Wheeler was substituted for Bobby Fisher. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Knut Engström to strike the kick off in the second half. Erling Hellsing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Clemente Armani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clemente Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erling Hellsing in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Owen Vera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casper Almstedt was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 62nd minute, Lanny Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the game, Di Röe's Martin Alebeck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clemente Armani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Casper Almstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Owen Vera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Di Röe's Clemente Armani threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alfred Finnbogason, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 80th match minute, Di Röe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erling Hellsing to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Di Röe's Ian Jesswein got a free kick in the 81st minute. Alfred Finnbogason hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Casper Almstedt came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Pipon Pipon's Owen Vera. But to his dismay, Owen Vera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Clemente Armani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Alebeck in the 90th minute. Alfred Finnbogason's late challenge caught a C. A. Pipon Pipon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfred Finnbogason helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of C. A. Pipon Pipon booed when Di Röe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Finnbogason didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the game, Michael Scott was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Pipon Pipon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Di Röe the free kick. Di Röe's Henry Forsberg was substituted for Martin Alebeck. In the 98th minute, Michael Scott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Di Röe's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
