Spectators: 7825 (Terracing: 5870, Seating: 1799, VIP seats: 156) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jasper Staarman started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, De Pelgrims's Laurens Oosterman got control of the ball when Amancio Feliu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 6th minute Geert Arend Robben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Urtsin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Adam Bareiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to De Pelgrims getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jasper Staarman hit a great ball. In the 10th minute of the match Dado Pršo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laurens Oosterman skillfully saved the ball. Maximino Urtsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geert Arend Robben in the 11th minute of play. Spams's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave De Pelgrims the free kick. 32 minutes into the match, Spams's goal looked a bit too open when Donny van Schaik came free, but Maximino Urtsin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Bareiro got free with Laurens Oosterman in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maximino Urtsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasper Staarman in the 38th minute of play. Laurens Oosterman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dado Pršo in the 39th minute of the match. Laurens Oosterman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dado Pršo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 41 minute of play. When Amancio Feliu came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Spams fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amancio Feliu couldn't finish the play. Florencio Gimenez hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Jasper Staarman hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Emanuel Mouricio made the kick off in the second half. Spams's Maximino Urtsin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Spams from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Spams getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Domagoj Vida hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hendrik Adriaanse got free with Maximino Urtsin in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Laurens Oosterman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Feliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Mouricio came free, but Laurens Oosterman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. De Pelgrims's Laurens Oosterman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Mouricio in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Spams getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Florencio Gimenez hit a great ball. Maximino Urtsin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jasper Staarman in the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Feliu came free, but Laurens Oosterman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laurens Oosterman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Laurens Oosterman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrej Kramarić in the 70th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jasper Staarman in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximino Urtsin saved Spams from getting behind. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Jasper Staarman sped through Spams's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maximino Urtsin. After 75 minutes, Florencio Gimenez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spams and the De Pelgrims players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 played minutes Spams got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Escobar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Americo Matia in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laurens Oosterman saved De Pelgrims from getting behind. The Spams fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Spams's Americo Matia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Escobar in the 89th minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Laurens Oosterman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Matia came free, but Laurens Oosterman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, De Pelgrims's Maximino Urtsin threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jasper Staarman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Spams booed when De Pelgrims was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaas Jan Baaijen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Spams's Alfonso Savion got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Spams's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
