Spectators: 7703 (Terracing: 5779, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) Anselmo Galnares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efraín Ruiz Tagle in the 3rd minute of play. Allande Antunez hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efraín Ruiz Tagle in the 5th minute of play forced AGT Team's goalkeeper Anselmo Galnares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to AGT Team getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Allande Antunez hit a great ball. Santxo Soler kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Spartans FC's Efraín Ruiz Tagle got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Spartans FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Filiberto Raab hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Quintin Vives ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florín Hermosilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Efraín Ruiz Tagle might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Galnares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Efraín Ruiz Tagle ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 26 minutes, Amado Fanta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spartans FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amado Fanta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AGT Team's Anselmo Galnares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Gerbella in the 28th minute of play. After 32 played minutes AGT Team got a freekick which was hit by David Ramirez. In the 32nd minute of the match Luis Eduardo Schorr sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anselmo Galnares skillfully saved the ball. In the 34th minute of the match Spartans FC got a corner. AGT Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luis Eduardo Schorr ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Eloi Lindsay managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 38th minute, Altzibar Murcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florín Hermosilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Quintin Vives in the 40th minute. The supporters of Spartans FC booed when AGT Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Ramirez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46thth minute of the game Amado Fanta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AGT Team's Anselmo Galnares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Efraín Ruiz Tagle to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Altzibar Murcia in the 52nd minute of play forced Spartans FC's goalkeeper Florín Hermosilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santxo Soler kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Anselmo Galnares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efraín Ruiz Tagle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anselmo Galnares came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Spartans FC's Amado Fanta. But to his dismay, Amado Fanta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 63 minutes into the match, Spartans FC's goal looked a bit too open when Altzibar Murcia came free, but Florín Hermosilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, AGT Team's Anselmo Galnares got control of the ball when Amado Fanta tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd minute, AGT Team's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Efraín Ruiz Tagle fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Efraín Ruiz Tagle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Galnares having to interfere. Amado Fanta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amado Fanta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Anselmo Galnares skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. AGT Team's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Efraín Ruiz Tagle scored to the left of an out of position Anselmo Galnares, making the score, 1-2. The Spartans FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Spartans FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
