When Silverio Jorrin fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nahitantino's protests and gave Silverio Jorrin a yellow card for diving instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rigoberto Furman to strike the kick off in the second half. The Nahitantino fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Nahitantino's Sixto Belasko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Martin Thomas kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When Clodoveo Caetano came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Nahitantino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Caetano couldn't finish the play. Silverio Jorrin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Caetano in the 87th minute of play forced Atlético y Tiro Rqta's goalkeeper Luis Landaburu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
