An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Joseph in the 10th minute of play forced PINGO PINGO's goalkeeper Serafin Maurino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Eneas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Abelardo Ourente made a huge save. 17 minutes into the match, PINGO PINGO's Josef Müller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abelardo Ourente narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of PINGO PINGO booed when Atlético Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Rudolfo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atlético Nacional's Angelo Joseph got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abelardo Ourente was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Josef Müller showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. A collision led to PINGO PINGO getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Rei Andrey hit a great ball. Serafin Maurino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Efren in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Celestino Rudolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 played minutes Atlético Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Damario. A collision led to Atlético Nacional getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Nemesio Damario hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Federico Eneas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Josef Müller to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Froilan Lertxun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PINGO PINGO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Froilan Lertxun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Federico Eneas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Abelardo Ourente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federico Frankenhaeuser charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Federico Frankenhaeuser the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 61 played minutes PINGO PINGO got a freekick which was hit by Federico Frankenhaeuser. Cleto Efren struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Serafin Maurino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Nacional. Federico Eneas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atlético Nacional's Abelardo Ourente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Lertxun in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Josef Müller was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PINGO PINGO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Nacional the free kick. Josef Müller kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. When Federico Frankenhaeuser was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. In the 79th minute, Federico Frankenhaeuser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Wilfredo Berriotxoa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Nacional fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After having played for 84 minutes, Josef Müller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PINGO PINGO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josef Müller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute, António Frankenhaeuser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PINGO PINGO's Serafin Maurino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save PINGO PINGO from getting a goal against them. Wilfredo Berriotxoa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Serafin Maurino made a huge save.
