Erwin Lanting hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. De Kasteelheren's Gerben Raatjes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Urbasa in the 8th minute of play. Gerben Raatjes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Urbasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Gerben Raatjes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celestino Urbasa's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. De Kasteelheren's Gerben Raatjes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Urbasa in the 12th minute of play. Celestino Urbasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Gerben Raatjes made a huge save. Gerben Raatjes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celestino Urbasa went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 24th minute Erwin Lanting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Nikola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the De Kasteelheren defense, Celestino Urbasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerben Raatjes. The De Kasteelheren fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerben Raatjes should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Urbasa in the 31st minute of play forced De Kasteelheren's goalkeeper Gerben Raatjes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute of the match, Ovidio Tristan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gerben Raatjes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gertjan Homan's late challenge caught a Punk Fiction's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gertjan Homan helped the player get up and apologised. 37 minutes into the game, one of De Kasteelheren:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Teodosio Monte shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When Carolo Estevon fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Punk Fiction's protests and gave Carolo Estevon a yellow card for diving instead. 43 minutes into the match, Carolo Estevon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gerben Raatjes, 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celestino Urbasa in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerben Raatjes saved De Kasteelheren from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celestino Urbasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Celestino Urbasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerben Raatjes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celestino Urbasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Gerben Raatjes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Urbasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvano Dalmu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerben Raatjes having to interfere. 87 minutes in the game Werner Weken did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jonathan Dissels. 89 minutes into the match, Punk Fiction's goalkeeper Clemente Nikola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mickael Rutgers. De Kasteelheren's Gerben Raatjes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Urbasa in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Punk Fiction had played much better football throughout.
