Freddie Helberg made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Abu Sap sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to 1930 Bafraspor getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Rahman Kabadayı hit a great ball. Freddie Helberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abu Sap in the 16th minute. Freddie Helberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abu Sap showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Abu Sap dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Freddie Helberg, 2-0. In the 25th minute, Abu Sap reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Freddie Helberg. The goal made the score 3-0. Abu Sap could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Freddie Helberg made a huge save. Yağızalp Tuğser didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Folke Ström went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Abu Sap could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Freddie Helberg made a huge save. Abu Sap took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Freddie Helberg. Freddie Helberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abu Sap was the one to do the kick off. Isac Ekenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. George Popescu struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Freddie Helberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1930 Bafraspor. 57 minutes into the match, BK Forward's goal looked a bit too open when Abu Sap came free, but Freddie Helberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Abu Sap cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Freddie Helberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 69 minutes, Abu Sap managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1930 Bafraspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abu Sap was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abu Sap in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddie Helberg saved BK Forward from getting behind. When Abu Sap came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the 1930 Bafraspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abu Sap couldn't finish the play. Freddie Helberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abu Sap's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Ramazan Ocakçı charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramazan Ocakçı the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, 1930 Bafraspor's Ramazan Ocakçı got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 82nd minute, Folke Ström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yağızalp Tuğser was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. In the 85th minute Abu Sap shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddie Helberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, 1930 Bafraspor's goalkeeper Yağızalp Tuğser had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erland Blixt. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Yağızalp Tuğser successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. BK Forward's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
