Spectators: 7757 (Terracing: 5820, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Serafin Igon started the match with the kick off. Bartolo Amato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Furtado in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Piquirenda FC's Nicasio Lauaxeta got a free kick in the 6th minute. The supporters of Piquirenda FC booed when UPTEXTIL.COM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baltazar Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Jean Paul Gol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute of the match Samuel Munio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oscar Azevedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nicasio Lauaxeta kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes, Piquirenda FC's Marcos Montrel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oscar Azevedo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Piquirenda FC reached it. After 24 played minutes Piquirenda FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Lauaxeta. Baltazar Paraibano had several of the Piquirenda FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Bartolo Amato as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 30 played minutes Piquirenda FC got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Bastian. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Furtado in the 31st minute of play forced Piquirenda FC's goalkeeper Bartolo Amato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabricio Iigo's late challenge caught a UPTEXTIL.COM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabricio Iigo helped the player get up and apologised. Fabricio Iigo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Rodolfo Tande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, UPTEXTIL.COM's Alexandre Barros got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute of the match Samuel Munio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oscar Azevedo skillfully saved the ball. Saverio Benat scored 1-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oscar Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thiago Furtado to strike the kick off in the second half. Oscar Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Benat, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Marcos Montrel kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Serafin Igon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Oscar Azevedo made a huge save. After 86 minutes, Ubaldo Bastian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piquirenda FC and the UPTEXTIL.COM players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute, Ubaldo Bastian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute Baltazar Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Amato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olavo Alves hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. UPTEXTIL.COM's Oscar Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Benat in the 96th minute of play.
