Batıhan Egesel in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. After a rather tough play, Joinville Esporte Clube's Júlio Valladares got a free kick in the 40th minute. Júlio Valladares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Yağızalp Arıkhan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hélio Furtado was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When Yağızalp Arıkhan came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yağızalp Arıkhan couldn't finish the play. Hélio Furtado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batıhan Egesel, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Yağızalp Arıkhan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hélio Furtado having to make a save. Hélio Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yağızalp Arıkhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yiğit Dikmen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hélio Furtado. 4-0. After some careless play in the Joinville Esporte Clube defense, Yağızalp Arıkhan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hélio Furtado. In the 84th minute of the match Luís Fernando Pena sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saadettin Şahinhan skillfully saved the ball. In the 86th minute Yağızalp Arıkhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 86 minutes into the game, when Glauco Saraiva put in a rough tackle. Joinville Esporte Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Batıhan Egesel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. After a rather tough play, Joinville Esporte Clube's Luisinho Lira got a free kick in the 95th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Yiğit Dikmen managed to get in a good position for a shot. KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Yiğit Dikmen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélio Furtado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 98 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Yağızalp Arıkhan sped through Joinville Esporte Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hélio Furtado. Joinville Esporte Clube's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
