Spectators: 7679 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fidel Chan took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes Sajones F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Mambru. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Tavares in the 3rd minute of play forced Sajones F.C.'s goalkeeper Julio Quinten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th match minute, Sajones F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Urtungo to maneuver through the defense. Eusebio Urtungo kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Ivan Prejun took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Gustavo do Nascimento. Luís Gustavo do Nascimento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 27 played minutes Sajones F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Urtungo. Eliseo Cordarius hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30thth minute of the game Dino Tavares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sajones F.C.'s Julio Quinten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute, Dino Tavares made a precise shot to the right of Julio Quinten. Sajones F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Emanuel Errolan hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Carlos Eduardo Sanches hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Quinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário de Salles in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dino Tavares to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dino Tavares got free with Julio Quinten in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 53rd minute, Eusebio Urtungo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Sajones F.C. booed when Nova Venécia-ES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Gustavo do Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Chan, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Dino Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Quinten having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Nova Venécia-ES's Dário de Salles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Quinten. That made the score 1-2 after 70 minutes of play. In the 80th minute Fidel Chan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Gustavo do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Sajones F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dário de Salles came free, but Julio Quinten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dino Tavares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Julio Quinten made a huge save. In the 87th minute Dino Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Quinten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th match minute, Sajones F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Mambru to maneuver through the defense. Sajones F.C. made a substitution. Sebastian Richie replaced Ivan Prejun. In the 91st minute, Gaspar Mambru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Quinten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sajones F.C.'s zone, Mário Aparecido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Quinten came out of the goal and Mário Aparecido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Nova Venécia-ES could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sajones F.C. throughout the match.
