The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yuan Peng Kun hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. The supporters of AF CERRADO booed when JEMBer UTara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bintang Budiono didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 played minutes JEMBer UTara got a freekick which was hit by Stevanus Avianto. AF CERRADO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Richard Travassos in the 19th minute. Fu Peng Wei thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Mekki Pink, a very annoying self made goal in the 19th minute which led to 1-0. Renatinho Leal struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Mekki Pink didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AF CERRADO. 25 minutes into the match, JEMBer UTara's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Goiano came free, but Mekki Pink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandrinho Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuan Peng Kun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 minutes, Yuan Peng Kun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JEMBer UTara and the AF CERRADO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Yuan Peng Kun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Goiano in the 36th minute of play forced JEMBer UTara's goalkeeper Mekki Pink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Travassos made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by JEMBer UTara's Jafar Mursadat. Sandrinho Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuan Peng Kun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 played minutes JEMBer UTara got a freekick which was hit by Jafar Mursadat.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yuan Peng Kun to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goal looked a bit too open when Yuan Peng Kun came free, but Sandrinho Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mekki Pink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renatinho Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Yuan Peng Kun hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Sandrinho Sabóia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yuan Peng Kun's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind JEMBer UTara's goalkeeper Mekki Pink, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yuan Peng Kun struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Sandrinho Sabóia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JEMBer UTara. A collision led to JEMBer UTara getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Bintang Budiono hit a great ball. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Sandrinho Sabóia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kaká Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Mekki Pink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the AF CERRADO players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
