Juninho Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Bührer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilian Pinheiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wayne Knoppertz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilian Pinheiro ran back to his position shaking his head. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after DJK Füchtel Vechta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. César Salgado took the corner. The corner led E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's César Salgado to fire away a dangerous shot which Wayne Knoppertz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Wilian Pinheiro in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wayne Knoppertz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 37 minutes into the match, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goal looked a bit too open when Folke Vielmann came free, but Juninho Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Simão Baptista quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ortwin Elbert, made in the 44th minute of the game. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The coaching staff of DJK Füchtel Vechta protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hector Möller had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch.
