Spectators: 7770 (Terracing: 5828, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 155) Erik Freitas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 7 minutes into the match, LauerArmy's goal looked a bit too open when Conrad Carrington came free, but Mazinho Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mazinho Dionísio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodney Urbina went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, C. A. Independiente's Reynaldo Ennis got a free kick in the 17th minute. LauerArmy's Mazinho Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodney Urbina in the 22nd minute of play. C. A. Independiente's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pedro Monzón in the 25th minute. Mazinho Dionísio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrad Carrington, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodney Urbina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, LauerArmy's Mazinho Dionísio got control of the ball when Diego Cagna tried to sneak it across the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Rodney Urbina notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of LauerArmy's Mazinho Dionísio. Mazinho Dionísio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Conrad Carrington charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Conrad Carrington the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 74 played minutes C. A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Conrad Carrington. A collision led to C. A. Independiente getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Pedro Monzón hit a great ball. After 84 minutes of play, LauerArmy's Erik Freitas made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Ángel Santoro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute, Diego Cagna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The LauerArmy fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C. A. Independiente were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
