The audience thought a goal was coming when Petrus Catarinense got free with Egil Sølve in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the match, Petrus Catarinense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egil Sølve. Holmkjar Hotspurs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petrus Catarinense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 36th match minute, Seterma Tractors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvaldo Silva to maneuver through the defense. Oluf Ankerbøl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Túlio de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Holmkjar Hotspurs's zone, Osvaldo Terra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egil Sølve came out of the goal and Osvaldo Terra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, Seterma Tractors's goal looked a bit too open when Tonni Dong came free, but Túlio de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tonni Dong in the 47th minute of play forced Seterma Tractors's goalkeeper Túlio de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petrus Catarinense was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Chollatit Reungaksorn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seterma Tractors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Holmkjar Hotspurs the free kick. Chollatit Reungaksorn kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Edvaldo Silva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egil Sølve. Seterma Tractors's Toninho Lopez got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Egil Sølve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petrus Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the match, Seterma Tractors's goalkeeper Túlio de Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oluf Ankerbøl. Osvaldo Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Egil Sølve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Holmkjar Hotspurs made a substitution. Kalle Bjarkmann replaced Tonni Dong. In the 71st minute, Oluf Ankerbøl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Túlio de Toledo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Oluf Ankerbøl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holmkjar Hotspurs's supporters rose to their feet, but Oluf Ankerbøl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Túlio de Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Túlio de Toledo managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Holmkjar Hotspurs's Oluf Ankerbøl fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Holmkjar Hotspurs booed when Seterma Tractors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petrus Catarinense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egil Sølve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvaldo Silva in the 81st minute of play. When Seterma Tractors's Petrus Catarinense in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Holmkjar Hotspurs's goalie prevented a goal. Kalle Bjarkmann kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Túlio de Toledo came out of the goal and Vagner Vennitze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
