Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Luís Paulo Romero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mario Alberto Bassenge's late challenge caught a Wyoming Cowboys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Alberto Bassenge helped the player get up and apologised. Mario Alberto Bassenge hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Eskil Larsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Philip McNamara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Alberto Bassenge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doctor Arteche in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Philip McNamara saved Wyoming Cowboys from getting behind. Héctor David Garachena took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Philip McNamara. Philip McNamara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 21st minute, Ivar Eklund made a precise shot to the right of Luís Paulo Romero. Lautaro L.P.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Luís Paulo Romero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lanny Lilly in the 27th minute. In the 39th match minute, Lautaro L.P. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Habil Ita to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Wyoming Cowboys's Leif Jespersson got a free kick in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stelios Philipidis to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Leif Jespersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Lautaro L.P. booed when Wyoming Cowboys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Sjö didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Paulo Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivar Eklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 65thth minute of the game Stelios Philipidis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wyoming Cowboys's Philip McNamara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute, Lanny Lilly got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lautaro L.P.'s Chu Ling Qian was substituted for Doctor Arteche. In the 73rd match minute, Lautaro L.P. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Héctor David Garachena to maneuver through the defense. Luís Paulo Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivar Eklund in the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Leif Jespersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wyoming Cowboys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lautaro L.P. the free kick. In the 80th minute, Leif Jespersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Verner Myr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Wyoming Cowboys getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Harry Sjö hit a great ball. Philip McNamara was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Chu Ling Qian capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Chu Ling Qian really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lautaro L.P. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
