Erasto Quizan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Triganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Playa Malvín's Erasto Quizan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Divock Origi in the 8th minute of play. Divock Origi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erasto Quizan came out and tried to block the shot, but Divock Origi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. The supporters of Playa Malvín booed when AEK FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steve Triganza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kenneth Knudsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Cimbron in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, AEK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Cimbron came free, but Kenneth Knudsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Cimbron in the 21st minute of play forced AEK FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Knudsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Playa Malvín getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Tristan Tate hit a great ball. Leonard Sandvær sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erasto Quizan made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Leonard Sandvær sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Erasto Quizan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Divock Origi. After 34 played minutes Playa Malvín got a freekick which was hit by Leon Ciriaca. After a rather tough play, Playa Malvín's Leon Ciriaca got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 42 played minutes AEK FC got a freekick which was hit by Steve Triganza. 48 minutes into the match, AEK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Cimbron came free, but Kenneth Knudsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kent Remme to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, AEK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steve Triganza to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute Kent Remme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasto Quizan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erasto Quizan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erland Slyngstad in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Divock Origi made a precise shot to the right of Erasto Quizan. Playa Malvín's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 61 minutes into the game, Uhin Angostina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Playa Malvín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AEK FC the free kick. Steve Triganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasto Quizan having to interfere. Divock Origi scored 4-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erasto Quizan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 71 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Triganza came free, but Erasto Quizan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erasto Quizan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Remme, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Remme in the 76th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Erasto Quizan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erasto Quizan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Divock Origi, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Triganza came free, but Erasto Quizan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Helleren hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. A hard shot 91 in the game by Efren Domao from a close distance when the talented Kenneth Knudsen managed to make a qualified save. AEK FC's players were relieved. After 95 minutes of play, AEK FC's Steve Triganza made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erasto Quizan was left in no man's land by his defense there! AEK FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
