The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Playa Malvín's Rosalio Azcoitia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by King Thorin in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Cimbron in the 11th minute of play forced Gondor FC™'s goalkeeper Tahir Srna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Vasco Teijelo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tahir Srna to make any attempt to save it. Rosalio Azcoitia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from King Thorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Gondor FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Cimbron came free, but Tahir Srna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Gondor FC™'s Tahir Srna got control of the ball when Vasco Teijelo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tahir Srna came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Playa Malvín's Tristan Tate. But to his dismay, Tristan Tate quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 27 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Mersad Imširović came free, but Rosalio Azcoitia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Gondor FC™'s Amar Amautović to fire away a dangerous shot which Rosalio Azcoitia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Efren Domao in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tahir Srna, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vasco Teijelo got free with Tahir Srna in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tahir Srna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristan Tate in the 35th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xayvion Penas during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 41 played minutes Playa Malvín got a freekick which was hit by Xayvion Penas. Rosalio Azcoitia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perica Tadić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tahir Srna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vasco Teijelo in the 43rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vasco Teijelo got free with Tahir Srna in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rosalio Azcoitia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perica Tadić, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Vasco Teijelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Playa Malvín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gondor FC™ the free kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Perica Tadić was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Rosalio Azcoitia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bard Bowman. Gondor FC™ were furious when Zarif Enzić was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Playa Malvín booed when Gondor FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zarif Enzić didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Playa Malvín's zone, Perica Tadić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosalio Azcoitia came out of the goal and Perica Tadić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gondor FC™'s Ball Lalić got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Vasco Teijelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gondor FC™ made a substitution. Šećer Pejović replaced Bard Bowman. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ball Lalić got free with Rosalio Azcoitia in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gondor FC™'s Tahir Srna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasco Teijelo in the 75th minute of play.
