The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With 3 minutes on the clock, Elia Barberio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 3rd minute, one of Atletico San Jacopino:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atletico San Jacopino. The audience was convinced that Eraldo Cicchinelli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Isauro was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Eraldo Cicchinelli kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Blas Nastasio took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guglielmo Vicario. Guglielmo Vicario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When Silvio Gregory came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the SABALEPLUS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvio Gregory couldn't finish the play. A collision led to SABALEPLUS getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Marco Ceandro hit a great ball. Atletico San Jacopino's Eraldo Cicchinelli got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guglielmo Vicario made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Blas Nastasio sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to SABALEPLUS getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Marco Ceandro hit a great ball. Blas Nastasio struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Guglielmo Vicario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SABALEPLUS. The supporters of Atletico San Jacopino booed when SABALEPLUS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Nastasio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Atletico San Jacopino's Fabiano Parisi got a free kick in the 38th minute. Eraldo Cicchinelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eraldo Cicchinelli made a kick off. SABALEPLUS's Camilo Isauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eraldo Cicchinelli in the 52nd minute of play. Guglielmo Vicario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Nevada, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 90thth minute of the game Justino Estevez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico San Jacopino's Guglielmo Vicario was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guglielmo Vicario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Estevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SABALEPLUS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Atletico San Jacopino for a fine match.
