Dave Savini's late challenge caught a Academia Rio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dave Savini helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th match minute, S.S.C. NAPOLI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave Savini to maneuver through the defense. Academia Rio's Nicolae Hizo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Filippo Laurenti, made in the 56th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Academia Rio's Gigel Coidum got a free kick in the 60th minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Attilio Riccardi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.S.C. NAPOLI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Attilio Riccardi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. NAPOLI's goalkeeper Edoardo Proietti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Avram Pârvan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Edoardo Proietti made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Academia Rio had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
