Henry Nölting made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Agustín Arriagada sent off a good shot on target. Henry Nölting showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Manuel Barbosa in the 6th minute of the match. Agustín Arriagada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henry Nölting read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Ysmael Alemparte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conny Stober in the 14th minute of the match. With his leg Henry Nölting managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Altermundi FC's Agustín Arriagada fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Altermundi FC booed when Academica Pulheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conny Stober didn't get a good kick on the ball. Academica Pulheim's Henry Nölting proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Academica Pulheim from getting a goal against them. Henry Nölting made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jose Manuel Barbosa in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, Conny Stober hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ysmael Alemparte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Schulitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 23rd match minute, Altermundi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Peragallo to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute of the match Carl Derm sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ysmael Alemparte skillfully saved the ball. In the 29th minute Florian Schulitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Alemparte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Academica Pulheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Jeraldo to maneuver through the defense. Jose Manuel Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Nölting having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Agustín Arriagada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henry Nölting was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 48th minute of the match Carl Derm shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ysmael Alemparte showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florian Schulitz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Alberto Tassara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Schulitz in the 56th minute of play forced Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Ysmael Alemparte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Agustín Arriagada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Nölting saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henry Nölting stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose Manuel Barbosa's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Jose Manuel Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Academica Pulheim's Noel Schaffert was substituted for Conny Stober. Ysmael Alemparte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Schaffert, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Manuel Barbosa in the 71st minute of play forced Academica Pulheim's goalkeeper Henry Nölting to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Justino Jeraldo in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Altermundi FC's Alberto Tassara. Academica Pulheim's Henry Nölting played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Arriagada in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Altermundi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Arriaran to maneuver through the defense. Ysmael Alemparte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Schaffert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry Nölting stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose Manuel Barbosa's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Jose Manuel Barbosa charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Manuel Barbosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 85 played minutes Altermundi FC got a freekick which was hit by Jose Manuel Barbosa. With a little luck, Altermundi FC's Ysmael Alemparte got control of the ball when Jari Anzengruber tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 87 played minutes Academica Pulheim got a freekick which was hit by Holder Wieczorek. In the 90th match minute, Altermundi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isadoro Bascur to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Academica Pulheim's Hannes Steckamp slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ysmael Alemparte. That made the score 1-1 after 93 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Academica Pulheim's Carl Derm got a free kick in the 96th minute.
