But to his dismay, Marc Lagerberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice moves Jari Anzengruber could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Frans Snell however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Lagerberg in the 9th minute of play forced Academica Pulheim's goalkeeper Henry Nölting to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Hannes Ahlquist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henry Nölting. Academica Pulheim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hannes Ahlquist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Henry Nölting made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Ahlström in the 15th minute of play. Julius Mulack charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julius Mulack the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Academica Pulheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julius Mulack to maneuver through the defense. Henry Nölting took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hannes Ahlquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 played minutes Team Xtra personell got a freekick which was hit by Hannes Ahlquist. Albert Ahlström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henry Nölting read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Academica Pulheim's zone, Hannes Ahlquist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Nölting came out of the goal and Hannes Ahlquist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Academica Pulheim's Henry Nölting played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Lagerberg in the 39th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marc Lagerberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Academica Pulheim's Henry Nölting played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hannes Ahlquist in the 52nd minute of play. Otto Kuhn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Frans Snell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Academica Pulheim's Jari Anzengruber got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frans Snell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jari Anzengruber in the 60th minute of play. Henry Nölting made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marc Lagerberg in the 63rd minute. Alwin Korte kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Marc Lagerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Henry Nölting tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Marc Lagerberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Academica Pulheim getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Otto Kuhn hit a great ball. Albert Ahlström took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henry Nölting. Henry Nölting dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Henry Nölting made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes Ahlquist in the 72nd minute of play. From a short distance, Team Xtra personell's Hannes Ahlquist, in the 72nd minute, tried to place the ball behind Henry Nölting, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. If Albert Ahlström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes Team Xtra personell got a freekick which was hit by Arne Pilblad. In the 79th match minute, Academica Pulheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Derm to maneuver through the defense. Arne Hellström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henry Nölting was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Hannes Ahlquist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hannes Ahlquist really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. 86 minutes into the match, Academica Pulheim's goalkeeper Henry Nölting had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marc Lagerberg. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albert Ahlström got free with Henry Nölting in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henry Nölting didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hannes Ahlquist went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. 92 minutes into the match, Marc Lagerberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henry Nölting. Academica Pulheim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marc Lagerberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Conny Stober's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frans Snell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Team Xtra personell played a much better game than Academica Pulheim and deserved their victory. The Academica Pulheim players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
