American Airlines's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ren Xi Chen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Seyhan Atlıhan came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by American Airlines's Kristofer Loyd. But to his dismay, Kristofer Loyd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Ren Xi Chen put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Dale Skinner. Ren Xi Chen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Ozanköy u21's Seyhan Atlıhan got control of the ball when Kristofer Loyd tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dale Skinner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ren Xi Chen's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ren Xi Chen in the 22nd minute of play forced American Airlines's goalkeeper Dale Skinner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dale Skinner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Abubakar in the 24th minute of play. Dale Skinner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ren Xi Chen's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Vincent Abubakar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale Skinner having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of American Airlines:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ozanköy u21:s goal. Dale Skinner had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Anders Eriksson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ren Xi Chen in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dale Skinner saved American Airlines from getting behind. 37 minutes into the game, Ren Xi Chen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Dale Skinner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Ozanköy u21's Ren Xi Chen in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye American Airlines's goalie prevented a goal. In the 43rd minute Luke Skywalker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seyhan Atlıhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Page kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

In the 52nd minute, Kristofer Loyd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ren Xi Chen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ozanköy u21's Diego Lugano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fabian Page in the 76 minute of the game. Ren Xi Chen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale Skinner having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ozanköy u21's Iker Ricart got a free kick in the 87th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kristofer Loyd in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Seyhan Atlıhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vincent Abubakar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale Skinner having to interfere. Iker Ricart hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Ozanköy u21's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
