Seating: 1828, VIP seats: 158) After 2nd play minutes Jonathan Antecha shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Sergiu Cobâlcescu and just under the crossbar into goal. Dudu Georgescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joaquin Ispuzua came out and tried to block the shot, but Dudu Georgescu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 7th minute. Sergiu Cobâlcescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Antecha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Antecha scored 1-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergiu Cobâlcescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Vaz came free, but Sergiu Cobâlcescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cédric Payen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Ispuzua was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andres Marines in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergiu Cobâlcescu saved Minerul Baita -MM- from getting behind. In the 20th minute, Bogi Miner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tajo Longoria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergiu Cobâlcescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Vanadio F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Cédric Payen scored to the left of an out of position Joaquin Ispuzua, making the score, 2-2. Jonathan Antecha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergiu Cobâlcescu having to interfere. Xandro Zubeldia hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Vaz in the 38th minute of play forced Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Sergiu Cobâlcescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Vanadio F.C.'s goalkeeper Joaquin Ispuzua had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ionică Şendrea. 40 minutes into the game, Ishmael Rico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vanadio F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minerul Baita -MM- the free kick. A collision led to Vanadio F.C. getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ishmael Rico hit a great ball. Joaquin Ispuzua was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eugeniusz Mnich. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cédric Payen in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Ispuzua prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Ionică Şendrea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minerul Baita -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ionică Şendrea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Ispuzua breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Narciso Vaz made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Vanadio F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Antecha. Cédric Payen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cédric Payen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Joaquin Ispuzua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Antecha in the 58th minute of play forced Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Sergiu Cobâlcescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Bogi Miner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Joaquin Ispuzua was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Narciso Vaz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Sergiu Cobâlcescu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 74th minute, Eugeniusz Mnich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xalo Camara during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute of the match Ferman Lima shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sergiu Cobâlcescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 80th minute Jonathan Antecha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Cobâlcescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 81 in the game by Narciso Vaz from a close distance when the talented Sergiu Cobâlcescu managed to make a qualified save. Minerul Baita -MM-'s players were relieved. Joaquin Ispuzua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionică Şendrea in the 87th minute of play. Sergiu Cobâlcescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Marines in the 95th minute of the match. Minerul Baita -MM-'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
