Gabi Batistuta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucian Alexandrescu having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Basarab Mihăilescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pablo Rutenio. Magic is Back's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basarab Mihăilescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Lucian Alexandrescu made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Teodosio Frans sent off a good shot on target. Magic is Back's Gabi Batistuta got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Gabi Batistuta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucian Alexandrescu. ABK Black Warriors73's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabi Batistuta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Teodosio Frans struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Lucian Alexandrescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magic is Back. Lucian Alexandrescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabi Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Magic is Back's Gabi Batistuta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucian Alexandrescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Magic is Back's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cai Bing Cheng in the 27th minute. The corner led Magic is Back's Cai Bing Cheng to fire away a dangerous shot which Lucian Alexandrescu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lucian Alexandrescu made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Teodosio Frans sent off a good shot on target. Gabi Batistuta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabi Batistutas short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Lucian Alexandrescu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lucian Alexandrescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabi Batistuta in the 38th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Magic is Back got a corner. ABK Black Warriors73's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cai Bing Cheng ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cai Bing Cheng made a great header on Magic is Back's corner, it was just that ABK Black Warriors73's Lucian Alexandrescu managed to reach the ball for a save. Gabi Batistuta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucian Alexandrescu having to make a save. 46 minutes into the match, ABK Black Warriors73's goalkeeper Lucian Alexandrescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodosio Frans. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iustin Mustață to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabi Batistuta in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucian Alexandrescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cayetano Darien hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute of the game Siro Noe made a throw-in which Justo Pasqual played forward. 78 minutes into the match, Basarab Mihăilescu notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Magic is Back's Pablo Rutenio. Pablo Rutenio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 82 played minutes Magic is Back got a freekick which was hit by Gabi Batistuta. Lucian Alexandrescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabi Batistuta in the 84th minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Magic is Back's Gabi Batistuta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucian Alexandrescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Lucian Alexandrescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabi Batistuta in the 87th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Gabi Batistuta made a precise shot to the right of Lucian Alexandrescu. ABK Black Warriors73's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. The corner ended in Claudio Marangoni almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ABK Black Warriors73's Lucian Alexandrescu did a great save. When the referee ended the match the Magic is Back players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
