The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wieslaw Zawacki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Dorigatti in the 7th minute of play forced Club 23's goalkeeper Sören Malmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cássio Dracena got free with Cezary Sitko in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Dorigatti in the 14th minute of play forced Club 23's goalkeeper Sören Malmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MKS Mazur Ełk's Armando Dorigatti got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Dorigatti in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sören Malmberg saved Club 23 from getting behind. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wieslaw Zawacki made a kick off. Druțu Pavel's late challenge caught a MKS Mazur Ełk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Druțu Pavel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 50th match minute, Club 23 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Druțu Pavel to maneuver through the defense. Club 23's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MKS Mazur Ełk the free kick. After a rather tough play, Club 23's Dacian Săraru got a free kick in the 90th minute. Dacian Săraru hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
