In the 11th minute, Ettore Varglien ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marta Poom was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a rather tough play, Kutsikad's Lembitu Lõvi got a free kick in the 13th minute. Marta Poom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ettore Varglien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Comunardo Cirulli dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marta Poom, 2-0. After 20 played minutes PICCOLE PESTI got a freekick which was hit by Bianco Spinelli. 22 minutes into the match, Edvin Keskrand notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of PICCOLE PESTI's Anthony Sacchi. Anthony Sacchi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. PICCOLE PESTI's Guaberto Ongile quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lembitu Lõvi, made in the 24th minute of the game. Anthony Sacchi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henri Väärsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 36 minutes into the match, Kutsikad's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Varglien came free, but Marta Poom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ettore Varglien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marta Poom having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Reino Kaldvee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, PICCOLE PESTI's Marta Poom threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ettore Varglien, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Anthony Sacchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Ööpik in the 46th minute of the match. Marta Poom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ettore Varglien in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Armando Corna was the one to do the kick off. When Ettore Varglien came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the PICCOLE PESTI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ettore Varglien couldn't finish the play. Frans Beckenbauer charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frans Beckenbauer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kutsikad booed when PICCOLE PESTI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frans Beckenbauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute of the match Jass Rihma shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anthony Sacchi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Rein Pulver was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kutsikad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PICCOLE PESTI the free kick. Rein Pulver hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Kutsikad's Marta Poom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Varglien in the 58th minute of play. Edvin Keskrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Kutsikad getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Lembitu Lõvi hit a great ball. In the 66th minute Ettore Varglien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marta Poom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ettore Varglien in the 69th minute of play forced Kutsikad's goalkeeper Marta Poom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marta Poom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ettore Varglien in the 90th minute of the match. PICCOLE PESTI's Per Lidman was substituted for Ettore Varglien. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kutsikad players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for PICCOLE PESTI.
