In the 18th minute Tommy Van Gertsuyden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Grep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tommy Van Gertsuyden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Van Gertsuyden in the 25th minute of play forced Älta BK's goalkeeper Edgar Grep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Tommy Van Gertsuyden's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Grep was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Van Gertsuyden in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Älta BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tommy Van Gertsuyden was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Tommy Van Gertsuyden struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Edgar Grep didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Circus BAF. After having played for 47 minutes, Erik-Jan Stroobant managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Circus BAF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik-Jan Stroobant was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Per-Erik Bergfeldt was the one to do the kick off. The throw-in from Wictor Sander in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Circus BAF's Sam-Lucas Lache. Tommy Van Gertsuyden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Edgar Grep made a huge save. 55 minutes into the match, Circus BAF's Tommy Van Gertsuyden sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Grep narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 57 minutes, Erik-Jan Stroobant managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hubert Vermeiren kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Edgar Grep made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Tommy Van Gertsuyden sent off a good shot on target. Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Erik Bergfeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Tommy Van Gertsuyden dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edgar Grep, 0-5. Circus BAF's Tommy Van Gertsuyden came free and shot a quick shot against goal 88 minutes in the game, fortunately Edgar Grep had problems saving as it came toward the left post. When Tommy Van Gertsuyden came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Circus BAF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommy Van Gertsuyden couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute, Tommy Van Gertsuyden made a precise shot to the right of Edgar Grep. Älta BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. The Älta BK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Circus BAF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
