When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Eddie Hultman took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Edgar Grep to make any attempt to save it. 9 minutes into the match, Älta BK's goalkeeper Edgar Grep had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eddie Hultman. In the 13th minute Ottorino Skjold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Grep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15thth minute of the game Per-Erik Bergfeldt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bennis's Lucas Lidberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Per-Erik Bergfeldt put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lucas Lidberg. Ottorino Skjold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Åke Käller in the 23rd minute of play forced Bennis's goalkeeper Lucas Lidberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25thth minute of the game Eddie Hultman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Älta BK's Edgar Grep was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Älta BK's goalkeeper Edgar Grep, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ottorino Skjold stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Älta BK's Edgar Grep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddie Hultman in the 51st minute of play. Bennis's attentive Benny Svensk managed to snatch the ball when Sune Asserlindh made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. Edgar Grep stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eddie Hultman's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Dahlqvist in the 64th minute of play forced Älta BK's goalkeeper Edgar Grep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ove Dahlqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Grep was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Edgar Grep stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eddie Hultman's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Edgar Grep came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Bennis's Eddie Hultman. But to his dismay, Eddie Hultman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Älta BK's zone, Ottorino Skjold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Grep came out of the goal and Ottorino Skjold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ove Dahlqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Axel Wassenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Jonas Mercurio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Fermin Gregory fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
