In the 39th minute Anacleto Sedeni suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 39 minutes into the game, Dany-Adams Opdebeeck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Circus BAF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bennis the free kick. Jeff Van Caels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Hultman, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, Bennis's Vincent Mattsson got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Jeff Van Caels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Dahlqvist in the 45th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Bennis defense, Tommy Van Gertsuyden kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Lidberg. The Bennis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Lidberg should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The supporters of Circus BAF booed when Bennis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benny Svensk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dany-Adams Opdebeeck kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ottorino Skjold in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeff Van Caels saved Circus BAF from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommy Van Gertsuyden during the 66th minute. The referee showed Ive Schamp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommy Van Gertsuyden ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucas Lidberg made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Tommy Van Gertsuyden sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th match minute, Bennis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benny Svensk to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the game, Tommy Van Gertsuyden cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Lucas Lidberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 93rd minute, Ove Dahlqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
