The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Älta BK booed when Bayern Lessa - u21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celsinho Capixaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Durvalino Toscano took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Grep. Edgar Grep dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Mario Jesus Jardel put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Edgar Grep. 26 minutes into the game, one of Bayern Lessa - u21:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Bayern Lessa - u21 getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Celsinho Capixaba hit a great ball. Johnny Vik made in the 36th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bayern Lessa - u21's Ponce Cruzado. After 41 minutes, Durvalino Toscano made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Älta BK's Edgar Grep tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 43 minutes of play, Bayern Lessa - u21's Durvalino Toscano made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar Grep was left in no man's land by his defense there! Durvalino Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Jesus Jardel in the 52nd minute of play forced Älta BK's goalkeeper Edgar Grep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Jesus Jardel in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Grep saved Älta BK from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Jesus Jardel got free with Edgar Grep in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Krister Vallander lost his temper 56 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to Älta BK getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Krister Vallander hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Celsinho Capixaba sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Älta BK's Edgar Grep didn't even have to move. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Jesus Jardel got free with Edgar Grep in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Älta BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Celsinho Capixaba was slow to take the kick. During this time Bayern Lessa - u21's players had a chance to rest. Celsinho Capixaba made a great header on Bayern Lessa - u21's corner, it was just that Älta BK's Edgar Grep managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 63rd match minute, Bayern Lessa - u21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davi Boldrini to maneuver through the defense. Ponce Cruzado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Edgar Grep made a huge save. Kent Ek hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Edgar Grep made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Jesus Jardel in the 77th minute of play. Bayern Lessa - u21's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Celsinho Capixaba in the 79th minute. A nice corner shot did that Celsinho Capixaba got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edgar Grep quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 79 played minutes Bayern Lessa - u21 got a freekick which was hit by Kléber Lago. Älta BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Mario Jesus Jardel scored to the left of an out of position Edgar Grep, making the score, 1-8. When Ponce Cruzado fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bayern Lessa - u21's protests and gave Ponce Cruzado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Ponce Cruzado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Bayern Lessa - u21 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Älta BK throughout the match.
