Paulino Lizardi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Engström, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The supporters of Asarum booed when Informaniaticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Sugoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Marcelo Orzaize fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Informaniaticos's protests and gave Marcelo Orzaize a yellow card for diving instead. Marcelo Orzaize kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gavino Primeiro made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Asarum's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Orti came free, but Michel Duset reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Gavino Primeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Informaniaticos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Elpidio Sugoi kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match.
